Florence
Florence is known as the birthplace of the Renaissance era and it is full of wonderful architecture and a plethora of fabulous art. You can visit some of the most famous works of Donatello, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo. Rome
A visit to Rome is an incredible way to delve into Italy’s history. This stunning historical city dates back more than two thousand years. Be sure to go on a guided tour so you don’t miss anything. One of the most important places to visit is the Colosseum that was built over two thousand years ago and is the largest Roman amphitheatre ever built. It was originally used for gladiator battles, and plays but it has been used for many different things over the years. Milan
Milan is a stunning city that is the home of stunning architecture, fabulous art, and great shopping. Stroll through the streets and make sure you see the marvelous gothic architecture of Duomo & San Babila. Be sure to visit Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie to see Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting The Last Supper. Milan is one of the world’s most famous fashion capitals so be sure to pick up some new clothes.
Venice
Venice is a beautiful and romantic city that is situated in northeastern Italy. This fascinating city is made up of islands that are connected by canals and bridges. This iconic city has been portrayed in many films over the years and the brightly coloured houses situated above the canals are a familiar sight to many. Pompeii
Pompeii was a thriving city until tragedy struck in 79AD. Mt Vesuvius erupted and destroyed everything in its path. All of the inhabitants were killed and the entire city was covered in ash and dirt. This coating has perfectly preserved everything and everyone that was in the city on that fateful day. You can view the perfectly preserved remains of people, animals, art, pottery, furniture, and even glassware. You can also see the original 2000 year old stone streets and see the remaining buildings.
