Vegas is known worldwide as the go-to place where great parties can be joined day or night. It’s a destination that never fails to entertain those who visit. So much of what goes on in Vegas is busy and, while lots of fun, can take a toll on one’s energy levels and even sometimes mental health. If you’re visiting or living in Vegas and need to find some balance in your activities or are just looking for a place to help you get glam, we suggest that you check out these incredible spa and wellness locations dotted throughout the city. These luxurious havens offer an escape from the fast pace of Vegas life and give you a space to rest, relax, and reset.

1. MGM Grand Salon and Spa

Location: MGM Grand Casino

Of all the spas & salons at MGM resorts, this one takes the cake. At this luxurious location, you’ll find every treatment and service you could ever need to be pampered, relaxed, and restored. The MGM Grand’s spa has thirty treatment rooms, so there’s plenty of space and ample opportunity to secure an appointment. Not only are the treatment rooms themselves state of the art but the accompanying whirlpools, saunas, and lounges offer every convenience and luxury.

If you’re looking to work up a sweat with something other than the sauna, the spa includes a fitness center that offers an incredible variety of workouts from weights to cardio and everything in between. If you’re just looking for a glam team, look no further. The MGM stylists are well-versed in cutting, styling, and makeup for every occasion, and they’ll have you looking picture perfect before you know it. This spa and salon is the perfect one-stop location for classic treatments and pampering.

2. Sahra Spa, Salon & Hammam

Location: The Cosmopolitan

This spa is truly special to look at and fairly unique, too, as not many locations in Vegas manage to offer authentic hammam services. The entire service menu is extensive, and each one is delivered by highly trained, professional, and welcoming staff. That said, the hammam is really what makes this location as wonderful as it is.

As many as four visitors in a group can use the hammam together, so it’s an excellent choice for a small group day out. The best experience is the CBD Moroccan Journey; book well in advance if you want to get an appointment. In this treatment, the guests enter their private hammam and stretch out on the gently heated stone slab. First, the Moroccan mint tea silt cleanse is followed by a dual exfoliation with the traditional kese mitt. Next, guests will get to sip on a delicious CBD coffee followed by a Himalayan salt scrub. Lastly, the hammam’s wonderful staff will apply a boreal forest mud mask, after which guests enter the steam bath. After a steam bath, guests are lacquered with pure honey; then it’s off for another steam and a whirlpool soak. This incredibly detailed and purifying treatment rounds off with a CBD and botanical massage.

3. Awana Spa

Location: Resorts World

If you’re a crystal healing person who firmly believes in the ability of those unique vibrations to reset your body and mind, then Awana is the right choice for you. Though it is one of the newer spa experiences on the strip, it made a name for itself as the alternative spa to beat in the Vegas area. This beautifully thought-out and designed location provides peace of both mind and body.

Serenity is the focus here, from the curvilinear wall design to the spa’s special Fountain of Youth. Step into the Aufguss (a German technique that isn’t seen much in the States) performance sauna where the meisters or “masters” use the traditional dancing towels and a wonderful combination of aromatherapy to waft the scented steam around the room in beautifully choreographed movements. There are reiki and chakra healing sessions, hydra facials at a medical grade, dermaplaning, gua sha and face yoga treatments too.

4. Canyon Ranch Spa and Fitness

Location: The Venetian

With more than 90 treatment rooms in one location, the Canyon Ranch in Vegas weighs in as one of the largest complexes on the planet. At this visually stunning spa, you’ll find almost every kind of treatment you could ever want: there are crystal steam rooms (yes, you read that right), a relaxing salt grotto, a wave room where the smooth, domed canopy that sails overhead creates a multisensory experience, a 40-foot rock wall in the fitness center and experiential showers.

The spa menu totals 40 pages, so there’s no chance that you’ll lack options. There are some wonderful combinations, too, like the Thaliates package. Guests begin with a 25-minute pilates sweat sesh and then on to a 50-minute floor massage in the Thai style.

Your Relaxing, Recharging Experience Awaits

Each of these spas, salons, and fitness centers has something unique and special to offer visitors. Why not step out of your comfort zone and try something new or allow yourself to be treated like royalty for a day?
