Las Vegas, situated in the heart of the Nevadan desert, truly has to be seen and fully experienced to be believed.

Understandably, you may have been avoiding booking your maiden trip to Vegas due to the entirely accurate association with the city and gambling and even though you could quite literally spend every single minute in a casino, Vegas has so much extra to offer.

With that being said, continue reading to learn of the top four activities in Las Vegas that are entirely unrelated to gambling.

1. The Eiffel Tower Experience (Paris Las Vegas)

When walking down the Vegas Strip, you simply cannot miss the iconic Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, not least due to spectacularly high Eiffel Tower replica built right into the middle of the main building.

Once you enter the hotel and head to the casino floor, amongst the dancers on the tables and ocean of fruit machines, you will find a small door leading to the top of the Eiffel Tower. You could either elect to simply climb the stairs and take in the views of Vegas or even stay and eat there.

2. BODIES: The Exhibition (Luxor)

Currently located upstairs in Luxor, just before you come to the food court on the right-hand side, BODIES: The Exhibition is an absolutely fascinating look at the human body and is certainly not for the squeamish.

With admission prices just thirty-four dollars for adults and thirty dollars for seniors, BODIES: The Exhibition showcases real organs and full-size human bodies accurately and eerily preserved.

Instead of spending an inordinate amount of time taken in by the lights and sounds, not to mention the potential winnings, when gambling in one of the large casino floors on the Vegas Strip, you could have a little flutter on the Prive City online casino.

3. Dine in Michelin Star Restaurants

Las Vegas boasts an impressive array of celebrity-endorsed and Michelin Star restaurants, ranging from Gordon Ramsey’s steakhouse to Lisa Vanderpump’s two venues in Paris Las Vegas and Caesars Palace. The city is equally famous for its nightclubs in Las Vegas, where visitors can continue the night with lively entertainment and music.

Even the world-renowned chef Joel Robuchon owns two hotels, both located in the MGM Grand; ‘Joel Robuchon’ (with three Michelin Stars) and ‘L’atelier Robuchon (with one Michelin Star).

Other luxurious restaurants on the Vegas Strip include, amongst a host of others, the following:

  • ‘Picasso’ (Bellagio)
  • ‘Nobu’ (Caesars Palace)
  • ‘Aureole’ (Mandalay Bay)
  • ‘Wing Lei’ (Wynn)
  • ‘Twist’ (Mandarin Oriental)

4. A Gondola Ride Through Venice (The Venetian)

If you have ever been to Italy and explored the historically fascinating city of Venice, you will know that, despite the sheer beauty of the city, the water in the canals does not look particularly inviting.

Now, nowhere in the entirety of the US could ever replace authentic Italian soil, but for a more serene and ultimately cleaner view of the Venetian Canals, you can take a Gondola ride through the complex, complete with your own personal gondolier.

The Venetian Hotel and Casino also has a huge shopping area and an amazing recreation of the Piazza San Marco (St Mark’s Square).
